Chance Encounter – Film Premiere

Commercial Partner - Sponsorship Opportunities

Commercial partner sponsors are invited to support the Chance Encounter Project objective of raising funds to ensure that Bumble – The Taunton based Mobile Cancer Care Unit (and other sister MCCU’s) continue to deliver Cancer Care treatment closer to home.

  • Brand identification in/on all Chance Encounter marketing material
     

  • Sponsors logos used on all the advertising and promotional material
     

  • Brand names / logos shown in the Chance Encounter film credits
     

  • Continual reference to commercial sponsors names as part of a social media campaign
     

  • Opportunities for the sponsor to promote involvement in the project
     

  • 4 reserved seats on the Quantock Belle and in the Regal Theatre

The project is looking for Commercial Sponsors for the following: -

  1.  A 10-coach steam hauled train including the Quantock Belle – 284 guests will travel from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead and return as part of the days experience. The authentic train will travel through wonderful Somerset countryside passing through 8 fully restored stations with a journey time of 90 minutes covering a distance of 22 miles.

     

  2. A drinks and canapes registration reception at Bishops Lydeard station for 284 guests before boarding the special train, chartered by Chance Encounter, to transfer guests from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead. 50 x 1 glass of Prosecco, plus 3 canapes - 50 bottles of Prosecco.
     

  3. Quantock Belle dining train where food and drink will be served to 284 guests, seated in 10 coaches. Lunch will be served for all guests on the outward-bound journey and cream teas on the return journey. Service will be as follows: -

    - 84 Two course meal with drinks Part funded by Claire’s Kitchen

    - 200 Exmoor Ploughman’s with drinks  Part funded by Claire’s Kitchen

    - 284 Cream teas  Fully funded by Lucknam Park
     

  4. Drinks package for all guests travelling by train on the outward-bound journey from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead
    Choice of red/white wine - Two glasses per guest (50 bottles of each) – 284 guests 
    Choice of still/sparkling water - One small bottle per guest  (600 bottles) – 284 guests  
     

  5. Souvenir Ticket Pack all guests registering at Bishops Lydeard and travelling by train will receive a souvenir ticket pack that will include: -
    A reserved train ticket seat
    A reserved theatre ticket seat
    A Chance Encounter programme
    Background of the project including the Barrington Mills Family Tree  
    An illustrated (photo) booklet of the Devon and Somerset Railway
    Plus a full list of all supporting sponsors
     

  6. DVD production – Chance Encounter will be available to purchase as a separate DVD. It will include a section of ‘out-takes’ plus a special guest introduction. The DVD will go on sale through the Chance Encounter and Hope for Tomorrow’s websites and also the shops at the West Somerset and Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railways.
